Anne-Sofie D’Herde

Anne-Sofie successively completed her legal studies at the University of Namur (FUNDP) and the University of Leuven (KUL). She joined the Brussels Bar in 2005.

Soon after joining the Brussels Bar, she followed mediation training courses. She is a certified mediator in civil and commercial affairs since 2009 and since 2011 in family matters.

Since 2015, Anne-Sofie completed several certified training courses in Collaborative Practice. She became a certified collaborative lawyer in 2019. Since 2015, she has played a pioneering role in introducing Collaborative Law at the Flemish Bars and was one of the co-authors of the preliminary draft law of the new Act on Collaborative Negotiation.

She is member of the ADR- (Alternative Dispute Resolution) commission of the Flemish Bar Association and she is member of the Joint Commission on Collaborative Law (OVB-AVOCATS.BE).

She wrote articles on mediation and collaborative law and also acted as a speaker during seminars on these subjects.

Anne-Sofie fluently speaks Flemish and French and has a good knowledge of English.
