Mediation is a voluntary, confidential and effective way of resolving conflicts without the need to go to court. It involves an independent and impartial third party, the mediator, who has undergone a specific training.

The mediator does not decide nor forces an agreement, but will assist the parties in analyzing the conflict, identifying their interests and will help parties to find creative, balanced and equitable long-term solutions for all parties involved.

The mediation process can be started before, during or after a legal proceeding and can be organized with or without the presence of the parties’ respective legal advisors.

We are certified mediators in family, commercial and civil matters.

The added value of mediation :

→ This method of dispute resolution is quicker, less stressful and cheaper than a legal court procedure.

→ Solutions are “tailor-made”.

→ Mediation can help to preserve or restore (family, professional or commercial) relationships and keep parties “on speaking terms”.

→ The final mediation agreement can be rendered enforceable by means of a simplified court procedure, giving the agreement the same enforceability as a court decision.

→ If no mediation agreement can be reached, parties still have the right to start or re-open a court proceeding.
